Quebec City
DAY 1
Friday, August 9
After a smooth and quick border crossing, we have arrived in Quebec City at our hotel, the Hotel Palace Royal for a luxurious 3 night stay. Everyone is looking forward to a relaxing welcome dinner at our hotel’s restaurant, The Beffroi Steakhouse.
DAY 2
Saturday, August 10
Our first full day of touring begins with a stop the Hotel du Parliament.
Visit to Quebec’s Joan of Arc Garden
Enjoying a beautiful morning tour of Quebec’s historic Lower Town with grand views of the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac.
Our group enjoyed a visit to the top of Montmoency Falls (1.5 times higher than Niagara Falls) to walk along the suspension bridge high above the falls and enjoy grand views of the St. Lawrence River and the Isle of Orleans.
Our action packed day of touring continues with visits to the Albert Giles Copper Studio. Here we viewed the exquisite work of this famed copper artist including the 50 copper panels he was personally commissioned to create of the Life of Jesus and to try our own hand at the art copper pressing..
DAY 3
Sunday, August 11
Today, our group was provided a wonderful opportunity to explore this beautiful city, an UNESCO World Heritage site on their own. With a hotel just steps outside the historic walls of North America’s only walled city and a new found knowledge from a full day of touring, everyone hit the ground running to make the most of all of the top rated attractions, museums and restaurants of this very walkable and super friendly city.
